Yes. The tool reads EXIF date data on upload and pre-fills it automatically. You can confirm or override it at any time.

Will the timestamp be permanent?

The timestamp is burned into the downloaded copy only. Your original file is unchanged.

Is a timestamped photo legally valid?

A burned-in timestamp is not inherently tamper-proof. For legal evidence, use a certified timestamping service alongside your original EXIF metadata.
